Tips and Tricks

The game runs in SDL, which needs to be set to use the wayland video driver. Edit the /usr/share/applications/supertux2.desktop so that the Exec= line looks like this. 

Exec=env SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland supertux2

You can use a bluetooth gamepad that works in Linux. Pair the gamepad with the Bluetooth page in the Settings and following the gamepad instructions. Go to configuration menu using your finger and set the joystick buttons.
